Kate Auge  is a mental health counselor that works with adults and teens across the lifespan to address a variety of concerns including anxiety, grief and loss, life transitions and trauma. Kate values a collaborative approach to therapy and honors the client as the expert of their own experiences. Kate integrates various therapeutic modalities to customize treatment and empower individuals on their healing journey.

Kate values creating a safe and inclusive environment for her clients. She is trained and experienced in trauma-focused care. Kate views her clients as a whole person and values the therapeutic connection. Kate views her role as a privilege to provide support, education, resources, and insight that moves clients towards health, happiness and healing. She understands that clients seek more than expertise, they seek humanness. Common client challenges include anxiety, depression, trauma and health difficulties. Kate is a licensed independent clinical social worker and clinical psychotherapist. Kate completed her graduate education at Augsburg University in Minnesota with a focus on multicultural and clinical practice.

Kate has training and education in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS). Kate is also a Certified Clinical trauma Professional.
