About Gabriella Stumpf
Gabriella works with teenage and adult clients to address non-critical, non-residential eating disorder challenges, as well as supporting couples and individuals who are navigating grief, anxiety, depression, life transitions, parenting challenges and relationship difficulties. She utilizes evidence-based methodologies such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Family-Based Therapy (FBT) to provide tailored, effective approaches that meet each client’s unique needs. Gabriella Stumpf’s Education and Credentials
Gabriella Stumpf is a licensed clinical mental health provider and board-certified clinical social work supervisor (Minnesota/LICSW/27505) with over a decade of advanced clinical training and experience. Gabriella earned her Master of Social Welfare from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from the University of San Diego. Prior to joining River Pines Counseling, Gabriella served as a therapist at The Emily Program in Saint Paul, where she specialized in treating adolescents with eating disorders. In this role, she conducted comprehensive assessments, provided individual, family, and group therapy, and collaborated with interdisciplinary teams to deliver holistic, client-centered care.
Whether clients are seeking relief from emotional distress, guidance through a life transition, or support in overcoming obstacles, Gabriella is committed to walking alongside them every step of the way. She works collaboratively to create personalized plans that help clients build richer, more fulfilling lives.
In her spare time, Gabriella loves to cook and bake, travel, learn about different topics outside therapy, and spend time with her family which includes her several cats, her dog, and people as well!
